IT’S BAAAAACK!!!
Just in time for Earth Day and Arbor Day, the 2023 StoryWalk®is now up and running in Scandinavia’s Jorgens Park Preserve!
Currently on the trail is “Wangari’s Trees of Peace” by Jeanette Winter. Read the true story of Wangari Maathai, an environmentalist and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, who spearheaded a campaign that has re-planted millions of trees in Africa and has inspired people around the world!
The StoryWalk® is a 0.4-mile loop trail that you can walk while reading the pages from a children’s picture book. Combining literacy with outdoor activity, the StoryWalk® is fun for all ages!
