Solar Eclipse Party!

On October 14, 2023, an annular solar eclipse will cross the United States. Join us at the library from 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. to make a pin-hole camera and observe the eclipse!

Self-guided instructions for making a pin-hole camera will be available starting at 10:30 am. The eclipse will reach its peak at 11:55 a.m., so arrive with enough time before this if you intend to make a pin-hole viewer.

If weather is overcast, we’ll live-stream the eclipse on the giant TV in the meeting room.

These activities are designed for kids ages 7-12, however anyone with a positive outlook may attend. Younger children should be assisted by a teen or adult.
