Dinovember
Celebrate the fun of dinosaurs and reading throughout November!
Every time you check out books from the library, you can choose a dinosaur to place on our cityscape. Let's see if we can overrun the city with dinosaurs!
We've pulled out many of our dino-themed books for you to browse. Our featured title for the month is "What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night: A Very Messy Adventure" by Refe Tuma—ask a librarian to read it to you the next time you're at the library!
We also have a new, dino-themed puzzle to put together. It even has some dino-shaped pieces! The puzzle is available for you to play with in our children's area. How fast can you put it together? Can you identify all the dinosaurs in the puzzle?
Finally, the library will have a stuffed animal sleepover hosted by our own dinsaur stuffties! One stuffed animal per child is invited to spend the night at the library Friday night, November 22:
- Pick up a permission slip from the library. ALL stuffed animals will need a permission slip to attend the program!
- Drop off your stuffed animal with their permission slip on Thursday or Friday, November 21–22.
- Pick up your stuffed animal on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday, November 23, 25, or 26. NOTE: the library will be CLOSED November 27–30, so be sure to pick up your stufftie on time!
- Go to our Facebook page to see pictures of what the stuffed animals were up to during their stay at the library!
