March 2–8 is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Week

We're starting the celebration a little early with a program for cookie lovers on Friday, February 28!

At 2:00 p.m. we'll have a special Story Time featuring some cookie-themed books.

From 2:30–4:00 p.m., kids can experiment with different frosting tips to decorate a cookie of their own.

Throughout the day and through the following week, the library will also have a cookie-themed scavenger hunt for children, and a chocolate chip guessing jar contest for everyone.

Story Time will be geared for children ages 4–7, and the activities will be appropriate for ages 6-11, but older and younger family members are also welcome to participate. A responsible caregiver should accompany any younger children.
