Snow Fun!

Friday, January 24, 2020 - 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Celebrate winter with some fun activities at the library!

  • Experiment: How does salt melt ice? What things isulate us better from the cold? Examine snowflakes close-up using a magnifying glass.
  • Play: Are you fast enough to build a snowman from ooblek before it melts?
  • Create: Make paper snowflakes using origami (folded paper), kirigami (cut paper), and quilling (curled paper) techniques, or paint a water resist snowman!

This free, drop-in event is open to all ages!

Younger children should be supervised by a responsible, older caretaker and may require assitance for some activities.
